Dolores and Jim Keppel of Lottsville celebrated their 50th anniversary on Sept. 5, 2009, with a dinner given by their family at Berea Lutheran Church Hall.
The Keppels have two daughters, Kathleen and Kristine, five grandsons, Taylor, Zackery, Corey, Jimmy and Dustin, and one granddaughter, Katelyn.
Jim Keppel and the former Dolores Curry were married Sept. 5, 1959, at Lottsville United Methodist Church. Mr. Keppel is a veteran of the Korean War and received two Purple Hearts. He is now retired from Truck Lite in Falconer, N.Y.
