Elizabeth Hewitt and Ryan Tipton exchanged wedding vows on July 11, 2009 at the home of the bride's grandparents. A reception followed at the Pleasant Social Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Julie Hewitt of Kennedy, New York. Her husband is the son of Mary Elizabeth and Gary Johnson of Clarendon, and David and Dottye Tipton of Warren. He is the grandson of Thomas and Florence Peterson, Gary and Beverly Tipton, and Edward and Nancy Standley, all of Warren.
Melissa Gifford was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacey Mee, Michelle Meyer, Madison Burdick and Rachel Tipton. Flower girl was Shael Standley.
Best man was Christopher Bimber and groomsmen were Jerry Hammerbeck, Justin Arzner and Robert Hewitt. Ring bearer was Nathan Burdick.
The bride is a graduate of Jamestown Community College and attends University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. Her husband is employed by Warren County.
They honeymooned in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
