Carolyn M. Michael, 64, of 48 Elm St., Jamestown, N.Y., passed away Saturday (September 19, 2009) in her home.

She was born August 22, 1945 in Beach, N.D., the daughter of the late John and Madeline (Baughman) Schulte.

Carolyn was a graduate of Golva High School, North Dakota and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War.

Prior to retirement due to ill health, she was employed by CVS Pharmacy in Falconer. She attended the First Baptist Church of Falconer and was a member of the Randolph Post 181, American Legion, and the AMVETS.

Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. She also enjoyed crocheting and bowling in the Falconer Bowling League at State Lanes.

Surviving are her husband, Sherwood R. Michael, whom she married in June 2002; two sons, Michael (Amy) Noe of Warren, Kenneth (Erica) Noe of Burke, Va.; three step sons, John (Dawna) Michael, Jeffrey (JoAnn) Michael and Jerry Michael (Dr. Janet Onufer); three grandchildren, Eric, Tyler and Kendra Noe; five step grandchildren, Dr. Mary, John W., Erik, Andrew and Katie Michael; two brothers, Larry (Shirley) Schulte of Golva, N.D. and Delbert (Jean) Schulte of Glendive, Mont.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carter Joseph Noe and her second husband, Eugene Cornell.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of Falconer. Rev. Robert Lewis and Rev. Lee O'Brien will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service in the church.
