Theft. Following a report to Conewango Township police regarding the theft of a wallet from an unlocked vehicle parked sometime Wednesday night on Jackson Run Road, east of Rt. 62, the wallet was recovered near the OK Keystone gas station, with $14 missing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police.
Farmington Twp.
Crash. According to Warren-based state police, David B. Irwin, 64, of Russell was traveling north on Town Line Rd. at 1:35 p.m. Saturday in a commercial vehicle when he was affected by a medical condition and traveled off the west berm striking a tree. Irwin was partially ejected from the vehicle and was transported to Hamot Medical Center, Erie, by helicopter for treatment of major injuries, police said.
Freehold Twp.
Scattered rubbish. Warren-based state police reported that between 7 p.m. last Thursday and 7 p.m. Friday, someone dumped old shingles and roofing materials onto a field along the road belonging to Alan R. Scott, 62, of 1643 Bailey Hill Rd., Bear Lake, and left undetected.
Glade Twp.
DUI arrest. According to Warren-based state police, Brenda Lee Ellis, 47, of Warren was arrested at 4:41 p.m. Saturday and charged with DUI incapable of safe operation, DUI high rate of alcohol, as well as other summary traffic violations, after she arrived at the scene of a previous accident and a breath test showed her BAC to be above the legal limit.
Limestone Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 6 a.m. Sept. 5 and 6:30 p.m. last Friday, someone removed approximately two-thirds of a cord of uncut wood from the camp of Donald S. Wolber, 48, of Delmont, Pa., on Charles Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.
Pittsfield Twp.
DUI arrest. Shawna Marie Johnson, 20, of Pittsfield was arrested at 2:33 a.m. Saturday and charged with DUI, underage drinking and other summary violations following a traffic stop on Rt. 27 for the tail lights on Johnson's vehicle being inoperable, Warren-based state police reported.
Spring Creek Twp.
DUI arrest. Warren-based state police reported that Michael J. Brown, 26, of Youngsville was arrested for DUI at 12:50 p.m. Sunday after being stopped at Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department on Rt. 426 for a traffic violation.
Sheffield
Crash. According to Warren-based state police, a 7-year-old girl from Sheffield was riding a bicycle south on Deerlick St. when she entered the intersection of Rt. 6 without stopping and was struck by a 1998 Pontiac operated by Darlen R. Minich, 43, of Bradford. The girl, who was not wearing a helmet, according to police, was transported to Warren General Hospital and then flown to Pittsburgh Children's Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
