Cherry Grove Twp.

Burglary. According to Warren-based state police, between 8 a.m. May 16 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, someone used force to gain entry to a camp on Hearts Content Rd. through a window located on the west side of the camp, belonging to Charles Eric Hoofring, 65, of Lusky, Md., causing damage to the window. An investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Deerfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that Charles B. Wilson, 16, of Tidioute, was traveling south on Youngsville Rd. in a 1990 Ford F-250 at 8:15 p.m. Friday, when he swerved to the left to avoid oncoming traffic, drove onto the shoulder and came to a complete stop. According to police, the soft shoulder gave in and the vehicle slowly decended down a steep hill into a ravine, before overturning and coming to a rest approximately 30 to 40 feet from the roadway. A passenger, Mattew R. Brown, 16, also Tidioute, sustained minor injuries, while Wilson was not injured, police said, who were assisted at the scene by Tidioute VFD.

Glade Twp.

Harassment. According to Warren-based state police, Daniel J. Dwyer, 19, of 300 Campus Dr., Bradford, and Trevor J. Watson, 21, of 13 Crestmont Dr., Warren, were both cited for harassment after getting into a fight with one onother between 10:50 and 11 p.m. Friday at 13 Crestmont. Dr.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that Billie G. Vandermark, 17, of Clarendon, was traveling west in a 1998 Saturn SC1 on Route 6, just south of Jones Rd. near the Mead Township Building at 10:50 a.m. Sunday, when she became distracted and traveled approximately 318 feet along the grassy edge of the norther berm before she realized it, at which point, while attempting to get the vehicle back onto the westbound lane, overcompensated by turning the vehicle hard right and struck the embankment with the front end, flipping the vehicle on its roof. Vandermark suffered minor injuries and was transported to Warren General Hospital via Clarendon VFD, police said. According to police, Vandermark was cited for careless driving and that the Clarendon VFD provided traffic control at the scene.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. According to Warren-based state police, Philip A. Sagan, 44, of Erie, along with three minor passengers, were traveling west on Route 6 in a 2005 Dodge Caravan at 5:58 p.m. Friday and attempted to pass a 1988 Isuzu pick-up, driven by Ronald D. Vibbert, 52, of Sugar Grove, but due to the glare from the sun, failed to notice that the Isuzu's turn signal was on and began to turn left into Brokenstraw Campgrounds. Police said that to avoid contact, Sagan veered off the road and struck a tree, and that no injuries resulted from the crash.

Triumph Twp.

Burglaries. Warren-based state police reported that between 6 p.m. July 1 and 6 p.m. on Friday, someone used force to enter the camps of Robert Frey, 31, of Mount Wolf, Pa. and Patrick Dolak, 47, of Northeast, Pa., and went through various cupboards and drawers while inside. Police are continuing to investigate and anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Warren.
