Sarah Battistone and Tobin Nelson were married by the Rev. Todd Leach on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at 3:30 p.m. at Shadyside Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, PA. The bride is the daughter of Arthur and Sharon Battistone of Washington, PA. The groom is the son of Mark and Ruth Nelson of Warren.
The couple was attended by Jamie Swanson, Allison Yoder, Bethany Adams, Carrie Wiethalter, Stefanie Rossi, Alyssa Walkowski and Angela Holdsworth, friends of the bride; and by Jeffrey and Zachary Nelson, brothers of the groom; Travis Sharp, James Curren and Mike Meneo, friends of the groom; and the bride's brothers, Joshua and Jared Battistone.
John Slaney, godfather of the groom, and Zachary Nelson provided wedding music.
The bride and groom reside in Pittsburgh.
