Mary E. Allison, 103, of Mt. Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield, PA, formerly of Decatur Village, Philipsburg, PA, died on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at Mt. Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield, PA.

Mary was born November 5, 1905 in Walltown, PA.

Daughter of the late Hiram Hubert & Roseanna Rebecca (Conway) Baumgardner.

1st Married: 1924 in Salamanca, NY to Nicholas Jovich, who passed away in 1941.

2nd Married: 1958 in Clearfield, PA to John Allison, who passed away in 1972.

Survived by: 5 Children

Jack Jovich of Youngstown, OH, Mark Jovich of Curwensville, PA, Mary Ann Matie and her husband Carl of Warren, PA, Sue Roland of Myrtle Beach, SC, Grace Crompton and her husband Markof Pompano Beach, FL, 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren and a niece, Donna English and her husband Jim of Morrisdale, PA

She was the last of her generation.

Preceded in death by: Parents, 2 Husbands, 3 infant children: Ivy, Max and Bonnie Jovich, 3 Brothers and 2 Grandsons.

She was a seamstress at the former McGregor Sportswear, Curwensville

She was of the Protestant Faith.

Mary was a gracious person and had a gentle soul.

She will be remembered for her love of music and beautiful voice.

A Memorial Service will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, PA on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Timothy D. Richmond officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Lakewood, NY. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 10:30 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Mt. Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 700 Leonard St. Clearfield, PA 16830.
