Lacey Elizabeth Sliter and Rodney Westley Rowland were married July 12, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nev. She is the daughter of Cindy McKinney of Pittsfield and Randy Sliter of Youngsville. He is the son of Rodney Rowland of Pittsfield and Becky Stone of Warren.
The bride is a senior at Edinboro University. She will graduate in May of 2010 with a bachelor's degree in individualized studies with a minor in English. The groom is a recent Army veteran and is currently working at McKinney Funeral Home.
The newlyweds were married in the World Famous Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, and then continued their spontaneous journey even further west to Long Beach California where they spent their honeymoon.
The couple resides in Youngsville.
