Katherine Sue Anundson and Mitchell John Dysinger were united in marriage on June 20th in State College, PA. The ceremony took place at the Church of Our Lady of Victory and was officiated by Father Mark Reid.
The bride is the daughter of David and Jessica Anundson of Sheffield, PA. Her husband is the son of David and Cathy Dysinger of Mifflintown, PA.
Freda Crummey playing the organ/piano accompanied three vocalists in providing the music for the ceremony. The three vocalists were Sandra Lindberg (cousin of the bride), Irene Pointon (cousin of the bride), and Caitlan Lupolt (cousin of the groom).
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by maid of honor, Alaa Kamnaksh (friend of the bride). Bridesmaids were Jessica Tweedy Anundson (sister-in-law of the bride), Kirsten Robertson (cousin of the bride), Heather Berrier, Lyndsay Imes, and Lisa Cassidy (friends of the bride).
Best man for the nuptials was Cole Dysinger (brother of the groom). Ushers were Alex Dysinger (brother of the groom), Blair Anundson (brother of the bride), Matt Dysinger and Eric Dysinger (cousins of the groom). Ringbearer was Daniel Gooss (nephew of the bride). Flower Girls were Abigail Gooss and Hannah Gooss (nieces of the bride). Readers were Stacey Robertson (aunt of the bride) and Jean Lupolt (aunt of the groom). Guest book attendant was Angela Quigley (cousin of the groom).
A reception at the Tussey Mountain Lodge followed the Ceremony. The bride is a 2001 graduate of Sheffield Area High School and a 2006 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, University Park. Her husband is a 2000 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2006 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, University Park. He is a sergeant in the Army Reserves and has served one tour in Iraq. He is employed with the US Forest Service.
The couple traveled to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, for their honeymoon before returning to Warren, Pennsylvania where they reside.
