‘Meet The Dean Night’
By DEAN WELLS dwells@timesobserver.comFollowing on the heels on the announcement that St. Bonaventure will offer college level dual enrollment courses for Warren County School District juniors and seniors, school district and university officials announced they will hold a "Meet the Dean Night" open house at Holy Redeemer Center today from 6 to 7 p.m.
Dr. Michael J. Fisher, provost and vice president of academic affairs for St. Bonaventure University, will be present, along with Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences David DiMattio.
In addition, professors teaching Spanish, French and English courses will be in attendance, along with administrators from the school district.
The event is an informational meeting for school district students and parents interested in participating in the dual enrollment partnership between the university and school district.
The St. Bonaventure dual enrollment program's fall semester will kick off on Sept. 1. Classes will be held in the Holy Redeemer Center. The university's new facilities at the Pine Grove Ambulatory Center are scheduled to be completed by early December in time for the second semester, according to project board member Bob Crowley.
