Conewango Twp.

Theft. Personnel at CS Drilling reported to Warren-based state police that between 5 p.m. May 29 and 6 a.m. June 1 someone removed locks on a truck and fuel pump, and then removed 1,500 gallons of diesel fuel from the truck, which was parked on Mohawk Ave., four and a half miles from Rt. 6. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Mead Twp.

Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident at 2 p.m. Aug. 18 on Rt. 6, 115 feet west of Keenan St. According to police, vehicles operated by William Verbosky, 59, Sheffield, and Germaine Perry, 67, Clarendon, were eastbound on Rt. 6 and Perry slowed to turn right into the Sears' parking lot. Verbosky's vehicle struck the rear of Perry's vehicle, according to police. Perry's vehicle rolled over and hit a parked delivery truck, police said. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts; police said Verbosky ws not injured while Perry was transported to Warren General Hospital. Police said Verbosky was cited for following too closely. Clarendon volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.

Pittsfield Twp.

Burglary. Melvin Jordan, 50, North East, reported to Warren-based state police that between noon July 13 and 8 a.m. Aug. 6 someone entered his camp at 74 Brooks Lane and removed various items. Police said the intruder also shot bullet holes into Jordan's camp and a neighboring camp owned by Larry Harkless, 54, Wattsburg.

Pine Grove Twp.

Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident at 2:45 p.m. Sunday on Priest Hollow Road, west of Cole Hill Road. According to police, Dusty VanOrd, 26, Warren, was westbound on Priest Hollow Road and traveling too fast for conditions when he attempted to negotiate a left-hand curve. Police said VanOrd lost control of his 2007 Ford Mustang, which left the roadway on the north side and hit a tree. Police said VanOrd and his four passengers were wearing seat belts; Ashley Peterson, 18, Warren, and Nicole Peterson, 18, Warren, were transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and released. Police said VanOrd and two other passengers, Randen Allison, 21, Tulsa, Okla., and Nicholas VanOrd, 24, Warren, were not injured. Police said charges are pending against Dusty VanOrd. Police were assisted at the scene by Russell volunteer firefighters.

Pittsfield Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police charged Kyle Salva, 734 Torpedo Rd., with harassment following an incident at 12:15 p.m. Sunday. According to police, an argument escalated into a physical confrontation in which he punched, grabbed and pushed a female onto the floor.

Pleasant Twp.

Theft. George Rosenfelder, 67, 64 Duncan Blvd., reported to Warren-based state police that between midnight June 29 and 3 p.m. Aug. 7 someone removed a .32-cal. Cobra handgun and a pair of binoculars from his vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Triumph Twp.

Burglary. David Andrews, 52, Wattsburg, reported to Warren-based state police that beween July 27 and Aug. 15 someone broke open the door to his camp on Youngsville Road, near the intersection with Campbell Road, and removed items. Police said this incident is thought to be connected to similar incidents in the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crimestoppers.

Sugar Grove Boro

Criminal mischief. At 12:30 a.m. Saturday on School Street, someone pushed over and damaged a grill belonging to the Eisenhower High School marching band. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Erie County

Arrested. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Daniel R. VanGuilder, 29, Corry, on Monday on a charge of violation of parole. VanGuilder, who was originally placed on parole on a charge of contempt, was arrested on a supervisor's warrant and commited to the Warren County Prison pending further court action.
