Roberta M. Francis, 94, of 310 Liberty Street, Apt. 706, Warren, Pa., died at 3:05 p.m. Monday afternoon, July 20, 2009 at Corry Memorial Hospital, Corry, Pa., after a brief illness.

She was born in Warren, on September 21, 1914 to the late Sherman and Anna M. Spade Zerbey. Roberta was a lifelong resident of Warren and a 1932 graduate of Warren High School and the former Hoff Business College.

She was employed as a secretary with the former Warren Water Co. and the former TionaBetts for 30 years. She was also a self employed hairdresser working until the age of 89.

She was a member of the Scandia Covenant Church. She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and was an avid Steelers fan. She always kept family the center of her life and was always there whenever anyone needed something. She maintained a positive attitude and was well liked by everybody.

She is survived by her daughter, Kendall Reynolds and her husband Roy of Warren; one son, Tim Kinander and his wife Carolee of Sugar Grove; seven grandchildren, Scott Reynolds and his wife Denise of Warren, Todd Reynolds and his wife Carolyn of Alexandria, Va., Marc Kinander and wife Kristine of Pittsburgh, Pa., Martha Dexter and husband Scott of Warren; Darrin Kinander of Erie, Pa. and Mandi and James Groves, both of Sugar Grove; six great grandchildren, Caleb and Jerika Dexter, Billy and Lara Reynolds and Maureen and Jennifer Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Francis, whom she married July 5, 1958 in Erie, Pa. and one brother, Bob Zerbey, in 1966.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, Pa. from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. James Swanson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
