Conewango Twp.

Warrant arrest. According to Conewango Township police, Crystal R. Borst, 19, was arrested Saturday on a felony warrant for a prior incident involving the intimidation of a witness of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the BP gas station on June 29, and was placed in Warren County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Crash. Conewango Township police reported that Eric Head, 18, of Warren, was traveling north on Jackson Run Rd. in the 1600 block at 12:51 p.m. Thursday when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel and lost control of his Jeep Wrangler, leaving the right side of the roadway for a long distance, then swerving sharply to the left and sharply to the right again, causing the Jeep to roll over. According to police, Head was ejected from the vehicle, which landed on top of him, but he was able to free himself and was flown to Hamot Medical Center, where he was treated and later released. police were assisted at the scene by N. Warren VFD, Fire Police and Emergicare.

Theft. According to Conewango Township police, Kaylie J. Seither, 18, and a 17-year-old female, both of Warren, were apprehended by Loss Prevention of Wal-Mart at 12:50 p.m. Friday for taking several items from the store, totaling $58.92, without paying. Police said Seither was charged with retail theft and given a notice of trespass and the 17-year-old juvenile was cited with retail theft and also given a notice of trespass.

Elk Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that Edith Turner, 71, of Warren, stopped her 1996 Chevrolet Corsica on Cole Hill Rd. at the intersection of Scandia Rd. at 3:55 p.m. Thursday, then entered the intersection without clearance and was struck by a Chevrolet 1500, driven by Lukas C. Garber, 26, of Warren, who was traveling north on Scandia Rd. Turner was transported via ambulance to Warren General Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, police said.

Glade Twp.

Crash. According to Warren-based state police, Stacey L. Walker, 22, of Endicott, N.Y. was heading west on E. 5th Ave. at the intersection of Quaker Hill Rd. at 7:10 p.m. Saturday, when shen failed to negotiate a sharp right turn in the roadway and drove her 2000 Dodge Neon into the yard of Galina Elliott, 51, at 1791 Quaker Hill Rd., and struck a wooden fence held up by block posts, causing moderate damage to both the fence and the vehicle.

Spring Creek Twp.

Burglary. Gary Sickler, of Spring Creek, reported to Warren-based state police that between 10 p.m. July 2 and noon on July 3 someone entered the building at the corner of SR-426 and Blue Eye Rd. and stole a black back pack with the letters C.M.H. on it and a tan plastic file box. Police are continuing to investigate and anyone with information is asked to call PSP Warren or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
