Mr. and Mrs. James Confer of Warren celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 6.
The couple renewed their wedding vows at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, performed by Msgr. John Lucas. A dinner party followed at Cable Hollow Golf Course, hosted by their children, Patricia (Mark) Wagner, Michele (Paul) Bova, Christina Confer and Judy O'Neill and their five grandchildren, Jennifer, Mikael and Elizabeth Wagner and Kyler and Kasidee Bova. Some of the original wedding party were present along with guests from Maine, New York, Kansas, Arizona, Florida, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Erie and the Warren area.
James and Carol were married on June 6, 1959, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Youngsville, by the Rev. Fr. Charles Hurley.
