Lauser-McKnight

Melissa Jeanne Lauser and Courtney David McKnight were united in marriage on Oct. 11, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Pastor Walter Packard presided.

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Carol Lauser of Warren. The groom is the son of Clifton and the late Jeanette McKnight of Rochester, N.Y.

Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by maid of honor Brooke Burton of Albany. Bridesmaids were cousins Lori Bienkowski of Orlando, Stefanie Lauser of Brookhaven, and friend Courtney Hills of Michigan. Flower girl was the groom's niece Jillian Nolan of Rochester. Best Man was Joe Bronstein of North Carolina, and groomsmen included Jonathan Lauser (bride's brother) of Warren, John Green of New York, Adam Ochs of Virginia, and Kurt Rocco of Missouri.

Scripture readings were provided by Barbara Lauser, the bride's godmother, and Danielle Nolan, the groom's sister. Wedding music was provided by Fran Leto keyboard, Jon Bowler guitar, and soloists Maria Reed (bride's cousin) and Jonathan Lauser (bride's brother).

A reception followed the ceremony at the Conewango Valley Country Club.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Warren Area High School. Her husband graduated from West Irondequoit High School in 2000. They each received bachelor of professional studies in culinary arts degrees from Paul Smith's College in 2006. The couple currently work as chefs at the Amelia Island Plantation near Jacksonville, Fla.

Following a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
