Probation violation. The Warren County Adult Probation Department reported that on Friday, with the assistance fron Warren City police, officers arrested Tara Connell-Nulph, 24, of 204 W. Third St., Warren, on a supervisor's warrant, on charges of violation of probation. Connell Nulph was originally placed on probation for a charge of hindering apprehension and was committed to Warren County Jail pending further court action, police said.
Parole violation. According to the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with the assistance of Warren City police, officers arrested Edward Thorton, 30, of 604 Henry St., Warren, Friday, on charges of violation of parole. Thorton, who was originally placed on parole for a charge of theft by unlawful taking and reckless endangering, was arrested on a supervisor's warrant and committed to Warren County Jail pending further court action, police reported.
Clarendon
Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police reported that eight male juveniles, all of Clarendon, were issued non-traffic citations, after they entered a property on Wood St., belonging to Amy Eaton, 39, of Clarendon, between 6:45 and 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while not being licensed or privileged to do so.
Parole violation. According to the Warren County Adult Probation Department, officers arrested Jeremiah R. Newark, 28, of 62 Wilderness Trailer Park, Clarendon, Friday, on charges of violation of parole. Newark, who was originally placed on parole for a charge of contempt for violation or order/agreement, was arrested on a supervisor's warrant and committed to Warren County Jail pending further court action, police said.
Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that at 11:30 a.m. June 21, Scott Thomas, 40, and Christine Yonkie, 36, both of Clarendon, had a verbal altercation which escalated, resulting in Thomas knocking cooking pots off a dresser, striking Yonkie in the leg with a pot.
Freehold Twp.
DUI crash. Corry-based state police reported that at 3:20 a.m. Sunday, David W. Pavlock, 26, of Sugar Grove, was traveling westbound on SR-957 in a 2004 Jeep Wrangler, when he left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a ditch and sluice and then a mailbox, before coming to a rest off the roadway on its roof, facing west. Pavlock sustained minor injuries and will answer to charges, police said, who were assisted at the scene by Wrightsville V.F.D. and Sugar Grove Ambulance.
Theft. According to Corry-based state police, between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. Friday someone arrived at Seamen's Auto Wrecking, 205 Deadman's Run Rd., and removed 30 catalytic coverters from the bed of a pickup truck and two tires with steel rims which were lying on the gorund nearby, the value totaling $4,060, and left the scene undetected. Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call police at (800)922-1975 or 663-2043.
Pine Grove Twp.
Harassment. A 46-year-old Russell woman is facing charges of harassment after she bit a 52-year-old man, also of Russell, on his right arm, as the result of a domestic incident at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, on Fox Hill Rd., Warren-based state police reported.
Sugar Grove
DUI crash. According to Warren-based state police, Benjamin Caldwell, 50, of Russell, struck a parked vehicle while attempting to park in the Sugar Grove Kwik Fill parking lot at 10:54 p.m. Friday. It was determined that Caldwell had been driving under the influence and he was subsequently arrested for DUI, police said.
Youngsville
DUI. Warren based state police reported that Daniel L. Howles, 36, of Corry, was stopped at 2:09 a.m. Friday at the intersection of W. Main St. and SR-6 for having a suspended vehicle registration and was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Howles was arrested for DUI and further court action is pending, police said.
