Five plead guilty in county court
By DEAN WELLS dwells@timesobserver.comFive defendants entered guilty pleas during court precedings in front of Judge William Morgan Thursday.
Alisa Marie Conklin, 119 Water St., pleaded guilty to simple possession and endangering the welfare of a child, amended to a misdemeanor. A charge of criminal use of a communications facility was nolle prossed.
Cody James Haines, 410 Hazel St., pleaded guilty to a charge of unauthorized use of an automobile or other vehicle. A charge of theft was nolle prossed.
James also pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.
Michael Johnson, 502 Beech St., pleaded guilty to criminal trespass. Charges of stalking and harassment were nolle prossed.
David Leroy Matie, 1 Mill St., Clarendon, pleaded guilty to aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault. Charges of indecent assault and aggravated indecent assault were nolle prossed.
Jody A. Cracker (Fitch), West Hickory, pleaded guilty to defiant trespass and harassment. A charge of theft was nolle prossed.
