Once again, children will be flocking to the Warren Public Library to read, dance and just have fun this summer.
The library's children's department is holding various events throughout the summer targeting children of all ages with activities like stories, songs and crafts.
From "Toddler Time" for children up to 3 years to a reading program involving the New Hope Assistance Dogs, the library is offering a wide variety of events for any interest.
Trish Gentilman, an assistant children's librarian, said the idea of the programs is to get children involved at the library no matter what their age.
"We want to get kids interested in reading as soon as we can," Gentilman said.
She said the librarians want the kids to be comfortable going to the library and see it as as a fun place to go, rather than a place where they have to be quiet.
"They can't be too young," Gentilman said.
She said she believes any age is a good age to begin getting kids familiar with the library and what it has to offer.
Gentilman, who taught "Toddler Time" on Monday morning, used stories, music and then crafts and toys to keep the kids interested in the program.
"Toddler Time" is offered for kids up age three at 10 a.m. Monday throughout June and July in the children's department at the library. The next program will be June 29.
