Warren

Criminal mischief. Warren City police reported that at 2:45 Sunday an officer responded to a report that graffiti was spray-painted on the playground shed and Coke machine at Crescent Park. Anyone with information is asked to call 723-2700.

Bad checks. Geoffrey Blystone, 25, of 992 Townline Rd. was charged with bad checks and theft by deception by Warren City police on Friday after a check he issued to WestPA.Net on April 1 was returned due to insufficient funds.

Public drunkenness. A Warren City police officer was dispatched to Pennsylvania Ave. W. at 9:31 a.m. on June 1 for a report of an intoxicated man who had fallen and was lying on the sidewalk. Police said that Boyd Friend, 65, of 229 Pennsylvania Ave. W. was transported to Warren General Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries. Police said a non-traffic citation was filed.

Forgery. Warren City police arrested Kevin S. Jackson, 22, 12 18th St., Jamestown, N.Y., at 4:14 p.m. May 30 at CVS Pharmacy, 100 Market St., for attempting to have a forged prescription filled.

Underage drinking. Warren City police reported that Brandon J. Albaugh, 19, of 413 Taft Place was arrested and charged with furnishing alcohol to minors and underage drinking after an officer was dispatched to the residence on May 28. Police said Kelsi R. Freeborough, 18, of 191 Scott Run Rd., Dextri A. Zaffino, 20, of 68 Pleasant Dr. and a 17-year-old female were charged with underage drinking.

Simple assault. According to Warren City police, at 2 p.m. on June 1, officers were dispatched to Lexington Ave. for a domestic dispute. Police said James F. Nork, 27, and Dannette L. Fiero, 27, both of 206 Lexington Ave., were arrested. Police said Nork was charged with simple assault and criminal mischief and Fiero was charged with simple assault.

Parole violation. Joseph L. Armstrong, 24, was arrested by officers of the Warren County Adult Probation for a parole violation on Friday. Armstrong was originally on parole for possession with intent to deliver. He was arrested on a supervisor's warrant and was committed to the Warren County Jail pending further action.

Glade Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that Billie J. Williams, 53, of Warren was stopped at 10:38 p.m. Saturday after committing several traffic violations on Irvinedale Road. According to police, Williams was then arrested for driving under the influence.

Mead Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that Melissa Ann Foreman, 43, of Sheffield was observed parked in a closed business parking lot at 12:07 a.m. on May 30. According to police, it was determined that Foreman had been drinking and a breath test at the police barracks showed her blood alcohol content to be above the legal limit.

Motorcycle crash. Warren-based state police responded to a motorcycle accident at 3:50 p.m. Saturday on Chapman Dam Road. According to police, Jason M. Jansens, 18, of Clarendon was westbound when he lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating a left-hand curve. Police said Jansens was thrown from the motorcycle. Jansens, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, police said.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a crash at 11:20 p.m. Saturday on Dorcon Road. According to police, Jayson P. Bever, 24, of Andover, Ohio, went off the right side of the roadway, struck the guardrails and drove over the embankment. The vehicle came to rest over the embankment. No injuries were reported.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that someone entered Deb's Collectibles between 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Police reported that a carved wolf and two boxes of painted mugs, valued at a combined $150, were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Watson Twp.

Burglary. According to Warren-based state police, someone entered the seasonal home of Thomas E. Bartholomew, 38, of Clarks Mills, Pa., off Hearts Content Road between 3 p.m. March 15 and 4 p.m. Saturday. Police reported that several tools were stolen, including a Milwaukee hammer drill, a Skil reciprocal saw, a Skil circular saw, a Makita cordless drill and an electric chainsaw. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.

Sugar Grove

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a hit and run crash that occurred at 12:01 a.m. last Thursday on Rt. 69. According to police, an unknown driver of a unidentified vehicle hit a legally parked Ford Escort and then left the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.
