Scott Reynolds pitched a 3-hitter and Preston McMeans went 5-for-5 for Blair Sunday in a 17-2 Warren County Senior American Legion Baseball League victory over Sugar Grove Post 758.

Blair is 1-0 and Sugar Grove is 2-1.

Jeff Eaton had three hits and Mike Nowicki, Kyle Papalia, Alex Keeney and Eddie Dorunda had two each as Blair scored in every inning. Blair sent 14 batters to the plate in the sixth inning to put it away on the 10-run rule.

"Scott (Reynolds) pounded the strike zone all night and when they hit it we caught it," said Blair coach Dave Papalia. "We didn't do a whole lot wrong, it was a good effort for our first game. They have a good team."
