Warren

Crash. A Warren woman was charged with careless driving after a two-vehicle crash at 1:53 p.m. on May 23 on Pennsylvania Ave. East at Linwood Street. Warren City police said a truck driven by Valerie Bailey, 34, of 1008 Chapman Dam Rd. rear-ended a vehicle driven by Angel Burroughs, 32, of 1009 W. Fifth Ave. Police said Burroughs slowed her vehicle for stopped traffic and Bailey reportedly took her eyes off the road to reach down to pick up her cell phone and failed to stop.

Possession. A juvenile allegation was filed by Warren City police charging a 13-year-old girl after she was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana on May 20 while at school at Beacon Light Behavior Health Systems, 121 Central Ave.

Simple assault. William C. Hussey, 34, 37 Hemlock Rd., was taken into custody by Warren City police and charged at 4:34 p.m. May 22 after officers were dispatched to his residence for a domestic disturbance. He was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

Simple assault. Warren City police reported that Justin D. Baxter, 32, 600 Holly St., Apt F1, was taken into custody and charged at 2:49 a.m. May 23 after officers were dispatched to 701 Pennsylvania Ave. E. on a reported fight in progress. Baxter was charged with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkeness.

Underage drinking. Mark D. Crossley, 18, 410 Conewango Ave., was cited by Warren City police after he was found sleeping in his vehicle at Prospect St. and Fifth Ave. in the middle of the roadway on May 23 at 8:02 a.m. He was charged with underage drinking.

Disorderly conduct. Delphine Campagna, 53, 12 Mead St., was cited by Warren City police at 9:04 p.m. May 22 after she allegedly screamed obscenities from her residence at three juvenile females from her residence.

Public drunkenness. Robert C. Hanson, 38, 604 Henry St., was cited by Warren City police at 12:09 a.m. May 24 after he was found laying in a front yard at the corner of Lexington Avenue and Elm Street.

Underage drinking. Cody S. Swanson, 19, 523 S. State St., North Warren, and Bradley J. McCaslin, 19, 107 Orchard St., were both cited by Warren City police at 10:27 p.m. May 23 after a traffic stop at Pennsylvania Avenue and Grant Street for a burned-out headlamp.

Warrant arrest. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Richard Daniel Ruhlman, 40, of Warren on a charge of violation of parole. Ruhlman, who was originally placed on parole on a charge of selling or furnishing alcohol to minors, was arrested on a supervisor's warrant and committed to the Warren County Prison pending further court action.

Crash. Warren City police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Pennsylvania Ave. E. at 7:23 p.m. Sunday. According to police, a vehicle operated by Linda Davis, 62, 810 W. Fifth Ave., was stopped for traffic and was struck in the rear by a vehicle operated by Mark Steffan, 30, 212 East St., Apt. 1. Police said Davis and her passenger, James Davis, 63, 810 W. Fifth Ave., and Steffan and his passenger, Brittany Simbeck, 21, 212 East St., Apt. 1, were not injured. Police said Steffan was charged with careless driving.

Conewango Twp.

Theft. Conewango Township police are investigating the theft of a number of items from a truck owned by Elisa Franklin of Jackson Run Road. Franklin reported to police that her vehicle was parked near 11 Jackson Run Rd. between May 19 and 21 with the items in a cloth bag. The bag was later recovered in an alley nearby with most of the contents. Anyone with information is asked to contact township police at 726-0725.

Mead Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that Blake Corey, 22, of Warren was stopped for speeding at 6:53 p.m. Sunday on Rt. 59 and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. According to police, a breath test at police barracks showed Corey's blood alcohol content to be above the legal limit. Police said Corey was charged with DUI, incapable of safe operation; DUI, highest rate of alcohol; and speeding.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 9 p.m. Monday at Kinzua Wolf Run Marina. According to police, an unknown driver struck a Chevrolet pick-up truck while traveling through the rear parking lot at the marina. Police said that driver then fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warren County Crime Stoppers or Warren-based state police.
