Brokenstraw Twp.

Harassment. According to Warren-based state police, between 4 and 9:30 p.m. on May 15 a man sent numerous harassing text messages to a 26-year-old woman on Allegheny Springs Rd., Pittsfield.

Pine Grove Twp.

DUI crash. According to Warren-based state police, David E. Vibbert, 50, of Sugar Grove lost control of his 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme while rounding a left-hand curb on Liberty St. in Russell at 1:10 a.m. Friday and hit a curb, then traveled over the curb and onto the Russel Post Office's lawn, then continued to travel west and hit the sidewalk and railing leading to the post office, before coming to rest against a large stone planter on the lawn. During the investigation it was determined that Vibbert was under the influence of alcohol and was charged with DUI, police said.

Glade Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that at approximately 1 p.m. last Tuesday a 17-year-old male at Warren Area High School was charged with harassment after he subjected a 13-year-old male to unwanted physical contact.

Youngsville

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that a man of average height and wearing a dark- colored ball cap pumped $30.86 worth of fuel into his vehicle at approximately 10:40 p.m. Friday at the Youngsville BP and then drove away without paying. The vehicle is described as being a dark blue or purple Chrysler Concord or Dodge Intrepid, possibly a 2000-2002 model, police said.

Forest County

Criminal mischief. According to Tionesta-based state police, between May 13 and 21 someone damaged a control house on Byromtown Road belonging to Warren Electric Cooperative.
