Bad checks. Warren City police on Tuesday charged Steven Wagner, 25, 17 S. South St., with issuing two checks totaling $140.78 in November 2008 to Crone's Drug Store from a closed account.

Conewango Twp.

Hit and run. Conewango Township police responded to a hit and run at 6:45 p.m. May 14 in the Wal-Mart parking lot. According to police, Terry Bevevino reported that another vehicle hit the rear quarter panel of her Mercury Mountaineer. Police said a note was left on the vehicle, but they were unable to confirm the provided information. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police at 726-0725.

Freehold Twp.

DUI. Corry-based state police responded to the scene of a one-vehicle accident at 9 a.m. Wednesday. According to police, LauraLee Groves, 547 W. Church St., Corry, was eastbound on Rt. 4006 when her vehicle drifted off the north side of the road, struck a mailbox, went into a ditch and became stuck. Groves walked from the scene, was picked up and taken to a residence, according to police, who said Groves will face summary charges and a charge of DUI.

Tidioute

Bad check. Tidioute Borough police on Wednesday charged Michael Neving, 43, Westover, Pa., with issuing a $269 check to Tidioute Oil Co. that was returned and marked insufficient funds.
