The Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania will hold a mobile food pantry for residents of Clarendon, Tiona, Sheffield and the surrounding areas who are in need of food assistance on Saturday, May 23, starting at 10 a.m. The mobile food pantry will be held at the Vet's Club Reception Hall which is located on 22 Brown Avenue, Clarendon.

There is no pre sign-up and participation in the mobile food pantry is free. This Mobile Food Pantry will provide food to 130 Households. Second Harvest will give food away on a "first come, first served" basis.

Second Harvest is the major supplier of food to a network of more than 300 member charitable agencies who obtain products from our warehouse and then give the items to individuals and families who otherwise would not have enough food on their tables. Member agencies which include food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, Kids Cafes and other nonprofit organizations receive products distributed from its warehouse. Last year, Second Harvest distributed 7 million pounds of food.
