Warren
Charged. Warren City police on Tuesday charged Kylie M. Shene, 18, 222 N. Irvine St., with four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance in connection with a Feb. 2 incident at her residence. On that day, a police officer was dispatched to the residence for a report of drug praaphernalia found in Shene's bedroom by her mother. Police said the paraphernalia and suspected drugs were sent to the state police lab and the results were positive for a Schedule II oxycodone.
Bad check. Warren City police on Tuesday charged Beth Ann Boedecker, 24, 645 Dawson St., Kane, after a check she issued to Dr. Schoenborn Family Dental Care for $66 on Jan. 6 was returned and marked account closed.
Charged. Warren City police on Tuesday charged Eugenio Delafuentechavez, 38, formerly of 117 Oak St. and currently residing in New Jersey, with corruption of minors and selling or furnishing liquor or malt or brewed beverages to minors. According to police, Delafuentechavez provided alcoholic beverages to minors at his residence and in the municipal pool parking lot on Feb. 6.
Conewango Twp.
Ordinance violation. According to Conewango Township police, Garland Haines III, 127 Sprunce St., Starbrick, was observed on Tuesday burning rubber tires in a fire pit on his property. Police said the burning resulted in a black acrid smoke, which was a potential health hazard for nearby residents. Police said a township ordinance bans the burning of tires.
Sheffield Twp.
Retail theft. Personnel at the Uni-Mart in Sheffield reported to Warren-based state police that someone pumped $30.96 worth of gasoline at 11:40 p.m. Monday and left without paying. Police were told that the young white male was driving a full-size gray or silver van. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.
Tidioute
Bad check. Tidioute Borough police charged Jeremy Andersen, 20, Warren, after he issued a check at the magistrate's office that was returned for non-sufficient funds and he failed to make good after notice. Police said the bad check charge was filed at District Magistrate Arthur Zerbe's office in Warren.
