Public drunkenness. Warren City police were dispatched to 300 Pennsylvania Ave. E. at 2:18 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report of a man acting strange and talking to himself. Police cited Daniel Mundt, 42, 1280 Conewango Ave., Apt. H3, with public drunkenness.
Charged. Warren City police took James Lauffenburger, 54, 332 E. Fifth Ave. into custody at 2:40 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop near the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Prospect Street. Police said Lauffenburger nearly sideswiped a passing vehicle while northbound on Buchanan Street. He was charged with DUI general impairment (second offense), DUI highest rate of alcohol, driving under suspension DUI related, and careless driving.
Charged. Warren City police charged Andrea Hansen, 34, 221 Second Ave., Apt. 2, after she entered a known female's residence at 8:30 p.m. last Friday without permission and damaged the frames of the victim's glasses.
Underage drinking. Warren City police cited Ruby Sheehan, 19, 703 W. Fifth Ave., for underage drinking after officers were dispatched at 12:18 a.m. Monday to that residence on a report of an underage party.
Charged. Warren City police were dispatched to 211 Monroe St. at 2:01 a.m. Saturday for a report that a male was holding a knife on a female. Charged with disorderly conduct and underage drinking was Cody J. Haines, 18, of 410 Hazel St. Charged with underage drinking was Jessi L. Solock, 18, of 211 Monroe St. Joseph Hinton, 21, 1109 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Apt. 5, was cited after he threatened Haines with a flashlight.
Pittsfield Twp.
Theft. Vernon Edmisten, 45, of Spring Creek reported to Warren-based state police that someone took his inoperative 1999 Kawasaki King Quad ATV from his residence between 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday. Police said the ATV was pushed approximately two-tenths of a mile along Miles Run Road, then pushed over an embankment. The front end of the ATV was damaged, according to police, with damage set at $400. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.
Scattering rubbish. Richard Danuski of Arlington Drive, Warren, reported to Warren-based state police that he found a plastic barrel and a few trash bags filled with household garbage on land he owns along Pilling Road. Police said the dumping occurred between December 2008 and May 16, and that the suspect is a Youngsville resident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.
