Clarendon

Burglary/theft. According to Warren-based state police, Alan P. Thwing, of 35 Brown Ave., Clarendon, reported that sometime between February 13 and May 15 someone entered his garage and removed a red 2-ton Larin Engine Lift, a black Coleman Power Mate air compressor and a Lincoln arc welder. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Burglary. According to Warren-based state police, someone entered an apartment between 2 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Friday at 2481 Matthews Run Rd., Youngsville, and removed a bottle of medication perscribed to a 62-year-old male resident. An investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that the driver of a white Oldsmobile Alero pulled out of the Dairy Queen parking lot on SR-6 at 6:05 p.m. Saturday into the path of a 2003 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Aaron J. Cool, 20, of Pittsfield, causing Cool to use evasive action to avoid a collision and turning his vehicle in a northerly direction, traveling 90 feet off the north berm and striking a Dairy Queen sign. The driver of the Alero failed to stop and traveled east on SR-6, and anyone who can identify the above vehicle is asked to contact PSP Warren or Crime Stoppers.

Pittsfield Twp.

DUI arrest. According to Warren-based state police, Tobias P. Zaczyk, 31, of Union City, was stopped for a traffic violation at 4:15 p.m. Friday at SR-6 at Barton Run Rd. and fled, with the pursuit ending on Hosmer Run Rd., where he was found to be DUI. It was further leared that there were warrants out for him in Crawford County, and he was arrested and charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police officer, DUI, habitual offender, as well as 15 summary charges, and was placed in Warren County Jail with bail set at $10,000 straight, police said.

Tidioute

Hit and run. Tidioute Borough police reported that a truck owned by Joseph Ball, of Tidioute was parked along Main St. at 2;45 p.m. Saturday, when a witness observed a maroon GMC truck with a Tidioute license plate in front strike it, causing $400 in damage. Police are continuing to investigate.
