Kesha Silvis of Clarendon was inducted into Lambda Sigma Society, the national honor society for sophomores, at Thiel College, Greenville.

Katie Moore of Warren received several honors at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on April 9. Included in her honors were the University Scholar Award which is given to the top two percent of all of Pitt's campuses; the Student Affairs Award for outstanding leadership, scholarship, character and service to the university; the management and education award for outstanding achievement within the division; and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants Outstanding Senior Award. Moore will graduate summa cum laude at the April 26 commencement ceremony at UPB.

Emily A. Martin, daughter of Ken and Patty Martin, Warren, has been accepted at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania for the fall term. A senior at Warren County Christian School, she has been active in basketball, volleyball, yearbook, school newspaper, Youth Volunteer Corps, school play, speech meet and as a student aide. She plans to major in elementary and special education.

Rebecca Hammersley, daughter of Tim and Faye Hammersley of Warren, has been accepted at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania for the fall term. A senior at Warren County Christian School, she has been active in varsity basketball, varsity volleyball, yearbook staff, student council and Youth Volunteer Corps. She plans to major in business administration and economics.
