Crash. According to Warren-based state police, Kenneth R. Holman, 35, of Clarendon, was driving a 2008 Ford F-250 south on Minister Rd. at 8:13 p.m. Friday, and while decending a hill, the vehicle traveled into heavy water running across the roadway, causing it to slide onto an embankment on the eastern shoulder and travel 45 feet along the embankment before rolling onto its right side.

Hit and run. Corry-based state police reported that an unknown individual driving a 2006 Toyota Tacoma on Pine Valley Rd., 300 feet north of SR 957 between 12:01 and 12:45 a.m. Saturday hit a utility pole with its passenger side, then continued off the road for approximately 600 feet before striking a tree with its right front, coming to a rest in a ditch approximately 150 feet off the east side of the road. The driver fled the scene and an investigation is ongoing, police said.

Crash. According to Corry-based state police, Tejay Shick, of 122 Biddle St., Warren, was driving a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser east on SR 6 on Saturday, when he fell asleep at the wheel, left the south side of the roadway and struck two trees, before coming to a rest facing southeast approximately 20 feet off the roadway. Shick will answer to a careless driving charge at a later date in Union City, police said.
