Warrant service. According to Warren-based state police, at 11 a.m. on April 8, 2009, Randy Hildum, 30, Pittsfield, a current inmate at the Warren County Jail, was arrested on a warrant stemming from a DUI and resisting arrest. He was arraigned before District Justice Lindemuth and placed back in jail on $25,000 bail.

Tidioute

Harassment. According to Tidioute borough police, Ruth McDonald, 61 Jefferson St., Tidioute, told police that over the past two weeks, she has received several phone calls between 2 and 4 a.m. When McDonald answered, the only thing audible was breathing on the other end, police said. Police are investigating.

Columbus Twp.

Hit and run. Warren-based state police reported that at approximately 12:40 a.m. on April 10, 2009, an unknown person driving a 1995 Ford Probe traveled onto the west side of the roadway shoulder. According to police, the person tried to bring the vehicle back onto the roadway, but lost control, traveling into the north bound lane. The vehicle was then overcorrected, causing it to travel off the west side of the roadway, striking an embankment with the front end. The vehicle continued off the roadway, traveling approximately 200 feet, coming to rest in a ditch, police said. Police reported the person driving fled the scene.

Farmington Twp.

Crash. According to Warren-based state police, at 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday, a 17-year-old male was traveling north on Rt. 1005 and when approaching a slight knoll, he saw a vehicle back into the roadway. Police said the juvenile applied the brakes, leaving approximately 69 ft. of skid and yaw marks. The vehicle slid clockwise off the roadway for approximately 15 ft., where the left front tire made initial impact with a culvert, police said. According to police, after initial impact the vehicle rolled over, traveling 21 ft. north, making a second impact with a tree. Police reported that the vehicle landed on its roof, coming to final rest on the east side of the tree. The Lander and Russell Volunteer Fire Departments assisted at the scene. The male juvenile and his 14-year-old female passenger, were both wearing seat belts and were transported to Warren Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Hit and run. Warren-based state police reported that at 5:37 p.m. on Friday, a 16-year-old male driving a 2000 F-150 was backing up in the parking lot of Chase Auction. The juvenile backed into another vehicle, which was parked in the parking lot, police said. According to police, the juvenile drove away from the scene, failing to report the accident. The driver, a 16-year old passenger, and a 17-year-old passenger were not injured.

Freehold Twp.

DUI. According to Warren based state police, Dustin D. Wilson, 24, Jamestown NY, committed a traffic violation in NY and failed to stop his vehicle for a Chautauqua Co. Sheriff and traveled into PA. Once in PA, Wilson stopped his vehicle and the Chautauqua Co. police contacted Corry-based state police for assistance. Officers found that Wilson was driving while under the influence, and was subsequently arrested, police said. DUI charges were filed at District Justice Lindemuth's office.
