The 62nd Annual Warren County Old-Fashioned Fourth of July celebration weekend is coming together quickly.
"We are still adding events, performances and vendors as we get more sponsors," said Wally Post of the Warren County Jaycees, who has been working with other Fourth of July Committee members, such as the Boy Scouts, Warren Exchange Club, Warren Main Street and the Warren County Humane Society.

"This year there are a couple of exciting changes in the way the fireworks will be done," said Post. "They will be shot from a different location, about a 100 yards east, allowing more spectators down into the park to watch them. There will also be some additional ground display fireworks. We have one that is Winnie the Pooh and fireworks shoot out of his honey jar that look like bees."
Post said that anyone interested in purchasing bleacher seating for the pre-parade show in advance, tickets will be on sale May 1 for $10. Tickets include bleacher seating, lunch and grand prize ticket.
Anyone wishing to put a booth up at the festival or register for the parade may contact either Post at 723-2587 or Jennifer Rossey, Main Street program and events coordinator, at 723-1360 as well as online at warrenpajaycees.com.
