Nicole Bost of Irvine, daughter of Gerald and Cynthia Bost, has been accepted at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania for the fall term. A senior at Youngsville High School, Bost has been active as student council president, SADD president, National Honor Society treasurer, yearbook business editor, Links, office worker, track, spirit club, and as an assistant Sunday school teacher at St. Luke's R.C. Church. She plans to major in early childhood and special education and participate in student government and Edinboro's honors program.

Jacob Andrew Tutmaher, a sophomore majoring in physics at the University of Rochester, has been named to the dean's list for academic achievement in the College of Arts, Sciences and Engineering for the fall 2008 semester. Tutmaher is the son of Paul and Rebecca Tutmaher of Sugar Grove and is a graduate of Eisenhower High School.

Mark Andrew Werner, a sophomore at the University of Rochester, has been named to the dean's list for academic achievement in the College of Arts, Sciences and Engineering for the fall 2008 semester. Werner is the son of John and Gloria Werner of Sheffield and is a graduate of Sheffield Area High School.

Jenna A. Dunning of Warren has been accepted at Gannon University, Erie, and will begin classes in the fall 2009 semester as a pre-med major. She is the daughter of Katherine and Matthew Hawkins and is a student at Warren Area High School. Dunning is involved in Key club, art club, French club, marching band and prom committee.
