Warren
Warrant arrest. The Warren County Sheriff's Office reported that Arron Fileger, 34, of 407 Market St., Warren, was arrested Saturday on a bench warrant for failure to appear for a court hearing, and is in Warren County Prison awaiting further court action.
Brokenstraw Twp.
DUI crash. According to Warren-based state police, Robert J. Edwards, 41, of Titusville, was traveling east on Old Route 6 at 10:20 p.m. Saturday when he failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Route 62 and struck a 1996 Buick Riviera driven by Richard E. Downey, 48, of Tidioute. Edwards was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI, and charges are pending, police said.
Mead Twp.
DUI. According to Warren-based state police, Ryan L. Southwell, 33, of McElhattan, Pa. was pulled over at 9:50 p.m. Friday on SR 6 near Weldbank for committing a traffic violation and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Southwell was taken into custody for DUI and charges are pending, police said.
Tidioute
Criminal mischief. According to Tidioute Borough police, Delories Timco, owner of J. Lauren Designs at 145 Main St., Tidioute, reported to police that in the early morning hours on Saturday, an unknown person damaged her railing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Theft. Tidioute Borough police reported that Mary Byers, of Tidioute, set her Nokia phone down on the counter at Polly's Market between 3 and 4 p.m. Wednesday and when she returned the phone was gone. According to police, they are in the process of getting information from the phone carrier to see if it has been used.
