Edinboro University of Pennsylvania has announced that Jamie Nicklas of Warren is a recipient of the Board of Governors Math/Science Scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year. The scholarship is offered annually to students who have exhibited academic excellence and who plan to be enrolled full time during each semester of the award. Nicklas is the daughter of John Nicklas and Barb Sullivan. She is a graduate of WAHS.

Danielle Watson, daughter of Mathias Watson and Kathy Cook, both of Warren, has been named to the dean's list at Seton Hill University, Greensburg, for the fall 2008 semester with a 3.89 grade average. A 2006 graduate of Warren Area High School, she is majoring in criminal justice.

Keith Yaegle has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Penn State Behrend with a 3.98 grade average. He is majoring in mechanical engineering and was a goalie for the varsity water polo team.

Lindsey M. Culbertson has been named to the dean's list at St. Bonaventure University, Allegany, N.Y., for the fall semester with a 3.94 grade average. She is a freshman majoring in accounting. A 2008 graduate of Warren Area High School, she is the daughter of Gary and Becky Culbertson.
