Indecent assault/corruption of minors. According to City of Warren police, a criminal complaint was filed Thursday charging John Imperial, 85, of 14 N. Parker St., with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, two counts of indecent assault and corruption of minors, following an investigation into a complaint received by a female on Feb. 11, in which he engaged in sexual contact with the victim who was, at the time of the incidences, between the ages of 8 and 15-years-old.

DUI. City of Warren police reported that Jeffrey M. Munksgard, 37, of 8 Monroe St., was taken into custody at 12:58 a.m. Thursday and charged with DUI highest rate of alcohol, DUI general impairment, registration and certificate of title required and period for requiring lighted lamps, after a traffic stop in the 300 block of W. Third Ave. for driving without his headlamps on.

Public drunkenness/ warrant arrest. According to City of Warren police, Michael G. Kempa, 54, of 16 Prospect St., was taken into custody at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and charged with public drunkenness and fugitive from justice, after officers were dispatched to PA and Elm, where he was causing a disturbance with DPW workers and was found to have an active warrant in Trumbull County, Ohio.

Conewango Twp.

Fraud/forgery. According to Conewango Township police, Shad Gutshall, 25, of Warren, was arrested Tuesday on two separate warrants, both for forgery, access device fraud, theft by deception and receiving stolen property, after he used a credit card at Walmart that had been reported stolen and charged $241.56 in merchandise and then again at Lowes, where $316.94 in merchandise was charged. Gutshall was arraigned and placed in Warren County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

Assault. According to Warren-based state police, Michael T. Smoot, 35, of Warren, was charged with simple assault at 5 p.m. Sunday, after he struck Travis Gruber, 39, of Warren several times after a verbal argument at Warren State Hospital escalated, causing Gruber to have to be checked out at the hospital.

Glade Twp.

Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police reported that a 15-year-old male was charged with disorderly conduct at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, after he was told to calm down and he yelled obscenities and punched a locker, causing a teacher and students at Warren Area High School to be alarmed.

Pine Grove Twp.

Criminal mischief. According to Warren-based state police, numerous mailboxes along Old Route 62, north of Russell, near Edgewater Rd., were smashed around 4 a.m. Thursday, in which witnesses on the scene reported hearing smashing sounds, then hearing a vehicle speeding away. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the actors is requested to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Sheffield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that Mark Utley, 44, of Brookston, Pa., was traveling south on Rt. 948 approximately six miles from Sheffield at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, when he fell asleep, causing his vehicle to travel off the southbound berm and into a tree. Sheffield Fire Department assisted at the scene and Utley was transported by Sheffield Ambulance service to Kane Community Hospital, police said, and was subsequently charged with careless driving.

Sugar Grove

Burglary/theft. According to Warren-based state police, an unknown individual entered the residence of Ralph W. Silvis, 61, of Warren Rd., Sugar Grove, between March 5 and March 9 and removed $140 in U.S. currency. Police are continuing to investigate.

Youngsville

DUI/harassment. According to Youngsville Borough police, at 9:48 p.m. on Feb. 28, Melissa Horn, 40, of Youngsville, came to the Youngsville police station accompanied by Daniel Lester, 42, also of Youngsville, stating that Lester struck her while in a vehicle in front of Downunder and Lester then stated that Horn struck him in the nose. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Horn drove to the station while under the influence of alcohol and she was subsequently charged with two counts of DUI, disorderly conduct, harassment and several other traffic violations, while Lester was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct, police said.

Terroristic threats. According to Youngsville police, a notebook was found in a rest room at Youngsville High School on March 4, which contained notes of plans to cause harm to a female student. Police were called by the administrator to investigate and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 563-7555 or Crime Stoppers.

Disorderly conduct. Youngsville police reported that citations are being filed against a 14-year-old male student, after he struck another 14-year-old male student in the face and head on Wednesday at Youngsville Elementary School.

Criminal Mischief. According to Youngsville police, reports of spray painting were received from the owner of Huey's Place on E. Main St.; Mindy Kane, the owner of a business trailer parked at 10 Hillside Dr.; Quality Markets; Youngsville Elementary School and an E. Main St. building near National City Bank. Spray painting was also reported on several signs and on Youngsville Borough equipment, all happening last weekend. Police are asking anyone with information on the vandalism to contact Crime Stoppers
