Daniel Winwood, 46, of 609 1/2 West Fifth Ave., Warren, Pa., died unexpectedly on Monday, March 2, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Winwood was born November 15, 1962 in Grove City, Pa., the son of Eunice (Perschka) Winwood, of Edinburg, Pa. and the late Ronald D. Winwood. Daniel was a graduate of Lakeview High School in Sandy Lake, Pa. and was formerly employed with Winwood Logging Co., from which he retired.
He enjoyed watching Steelers football, pool, chess, hunting, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Patricia Darlene Sapanero, Warren; a stepdaughter, Tanya Card, Sugar Grove; two stepsons, Anthonio Sapanero, Warren and Mario Sapanero, Sharon, Pa.; two brothers, Ronald Winwood Jr. and Michael Winwood, both of Edinburg, Pa.; two sisters, Luann Rathy, Edinburg and Rhonda Knight, West Middlesex, Pa.; a half sister, Eileen Fisher, Cambridge, Wis.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald G. Winwood; and a half brother, Frank Chupak Jr.
Friends may call at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave. E., Warren, on Friday, March 6 from, 68 p.m., and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there on Saturday, March 7 at 12 p.m.
Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
