Child endangerment. According to City of Warren police, a criminal complaint was filed Thursday charging Lisa A. May, 47, of 219 Jefferson St. after she allegedly left a seven-year-old child alone on a bench at Thorne's BiLo and took a four-year-old to the beer distributor to purchase a 30-pack of beer on Feb. 6. May was the babysitter for the two children, police said, and the charges were filed following an investigation after a complaint was received from the parent on Feb. 12.

Farmington Twp.

Crash. According to Warren-based state police, Justin M. Ash, 21, of Russell was transported to Warren General Hospital by Russell VFD Ambulance with moderate injuries at 3:28 p.m. Wednesday after he lost control of his 2007 Ford F-150 on the slush- covered roadway while traveling north on Miller Hill Road and struck a dirt embankment, continued approximately 20 feet and hit a tree with the driver's side front, then spun clockwise across the roadway and came to a rest off the left side of the road, facing southeast. Police were assisted at the scene by Lander and Russell volunteer firefighters.

Glade Twp.

DUI accident. According to Warren-based state police, Cory A. Trojanowski, 21, of Warren was arrested for DUI and several summary violations at 5:32 p.m. Feb. 13 after he lost control of his 2000 Dodge Ram while attempting to negotiate a curve at the intersection of E. Fifth Ave. Ext. and Quaker Hill Road and left the roadway, striking a mailbox and a large rock in a private yard.

Pittsfield Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that Tracy Burns, 41, of Pittsfield faces harassment charges after grabbing Jennifer Wilcox, 33, of Pittsfied by both arms and subjecting her to unwanted physical contact during an argument at a residence on Barton Run Rd. at 4:58 a.m. Thursday.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, someone cut a plastic air line on a 2003 Peterbilt 379 truck tractor owned by Sparki Ann Lyszaz, Youngsville, while parked at Lyszaz Garage, causing $50 in damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-83-CRIME.

Southwest Twp.

Crash. According to Warren-based state police, John A. Larson, 63, of Warren lost control of his 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue on a snow- and ice-covered roadway while traveling south on Route 27, south of Seldom Seen Rd. at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, traveled off the west side of the road and struck a ditch, then traveled 162 feet along the ditch before striking a tree and spinning clockwise, traveling another 48 feet and coming to a final rest facing north. A passenger, Melissa A. Tatarski, 33, of Warren was transported by ambulance to Titusville Area Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries while Larson, as well as two other passengers, Karen S. Larson, 63, and a male juvenile, all of Warren, were not injured, police said.
