Several students from Warren County graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania on Dec. 13:
Barton G. Moon of Bear Lake earned a bachelor's degree in management;
Erica B. Walker of Clarendon earned an associate's degree in early childhood education;
Scott M. Williams of Russell earned a bachelor's degree in finance;
Jessica L. Lewis of Sheffield earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education, general science;
Krissy M. Kelly of Tidioute earned a bachelor's degree in environmental geoscience;
Steven A. Papalia of Warren earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education, social studies;
Nadine M. Westover of Youngsville earned an associate's degree in early childhood education.

Rachel S. Tutmaher recently accepted a position as a research and development engineer in the applied research laboratory at the Pennsylvania State University, State College. Tutmaher received a master of science degree in applied mathematics from Florida State University in April 2008. During her course of study, she held an assistantship position teaching pre-calculus and college algebra.
Tutmaher also graduated from Bucknell University with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics, completed the requirements for a bachelor of arts degree in classics and minored in physics. During her undergraduate years, Tutmaher participated in an archeological dig in Jamestown, Va., as part of the Jamestown Redisocvery Project. She appeared as part of the team when the Discovery Channel filmed a segment on the work. During her years at Bucknell, Tutmaher ran Division I cross-country, indoor t rack and outdoor track for two years.
Tutmaher is a 2002 graduate of Eisenhower High School and a 1998 graduate of St. Joseph School in Warren. She is the daughter of Paul and Rebecca Tutmaher of Sugar Grove.

Elissa Davis graduated with honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Dec. 14 with a bachelor of science in education degree in music education. Davis, a 2004 graduate of Warren Area High School and a member of the SAI music fraternity, is the daughter of Karen and Mark Davis of Warren.

Kristi Rae California was recently named to the Penn College of Technology's dean's list earning a 4.0 grade average for the fall 2008 semester. A 2006 graduate of Warren Area High School, California, is a junior physician's assistant major. She is the daughter of Jim and Kim California, River Rd., Warren.

Kathleen B. Blackman, formerly of Warren, has been named to the president's list at the University of South Carolina for the fall term 2008. This honor is awarded to students who maintain a 4.0 average. Blackman is a student in the human services degree program and currently resides in Bluffton, S.C., with her daughter, Anne. She is the widow of the late Attorney James C. Blackman.
