Raymond and Marjorie (Cook) Mickle of Tidioute celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 27. The couple was married Dec. 27, 1958, in West Hickory. Mr. Mickle is the son of the late Ernest and Leona (Durlin) Mickle, and Mrs. Mickle is the daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Harmon) Cook. Mr. Mickle is a life-long resident of Tidioute, and Mrs. Mickle was raised in West Hickory.
The Mickles are the parents of Tammy Mickle of Freeport, Pa.; Frank Mickle and wife Olivia, of Coudersport; and Sandy (Mickle) Slack and husband Steve, of Hurricane, W. Va. They also have seven grandchildren.
Mr. Mickle is a retired foreman from the National Forge Company, and Mrs. Mickle was a homemaker who worked at Blair Corporation after their children were raised.
