Dick and Elaine (Gibson) Olney of Scandia Rd., Warren, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently with a glacier viewing cruise off the coast of Alaska. It was a seven-day cruise ship excursion that took them from Vancouver, Canada, to various Alaskan ports including Juneau, Capital of Alaska, and ending in Anchorage.
Mr. and Mrs. Olney were married Nov. 25, 1948, at First Baptist Church, Warren, by the late Rev. Milton Perry. They are retired and have two children, David, and wife, Joy, and Susan Toombs and husband, Ray.
