Sugar Grove, Celeron pace Penn-York trap
Sugar Grove and Celeron shared the top spot with 336 in the second week of the Penn-York Trap League competition held this week at Brokenstraw Fish and Game Club. Pine Grove was close behind with a score of 334.
Celeron's Tim Young and Sugar Grove's Charlie Brown shot the only perfect scores of the week. Busti's Chiyo Grant was the high lady with 48 and Pine Grove's Scott Saporito led the sub-juniors, also with a 48.
High junior honors went to Sugar Grove's Colton Black while Celeron's E.J. Rammelt was the high vet. Both shooters busted 49 targets. Senior vet honors were shared by Sugar Grove's Bill Dallas, Kalbfus' Jim Stearns and Carroll's Marion Buetler, all with 47.
Next week's shoot will take place at the Pine Grove Sportsmen's Club.
