Sara J. Punsky and Chad M. McGuire were united in marriage on June 28, 2008, at the Turner Memorial Pavilion in Williamsburg, Mass. Justin B. McCauley, friend of the bride and groom, officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Barbara Swanson and William Russell and Bruce and Hope Punsky, all of Warren. The groom is the son of Sandra McGuire of Leeds, Mass.
Escorted in marriage by her mother and father, the bride was attended by her sisters and maids of honor, Amy and Mary Punsky, Heidi McGuire, sister of the groom, Nicole Horton, friend of the bride and cousin of the groom, Amy Wolcott, friend of the bride,, and flower girl Katelyn Meunier, goddaughter of the groom.
The groom was attended by his brother and Best Man, Sean McGuire, Eli Punsky, brother of the bride, Brian and Matt Meunier, cousins of the groom, Jon Wolcott, friend of the groom and ring bearer Justin Meunier, godson of the bride.
Readings were given by Anna Peterson, friend of the bride, Allyson Martin, friend of the bride, and Abigail Meunier, cousin of the groom. Crystal Russell, sister-in-law of the bride, coordinated the wedding day.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Warren Area High School, a 2002 graduate of Edinboro University and a 2004 graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a master of science degree in educational leadership. She is the assistant director for work and leadership at Smith College in Northampton, Mass. The groom is a 1996 graduate of Northampton High School (Mass.), a 2000 graduate of Westfield State College (Mass.), and 2004 graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a master of science degree in counseling. He is the head of guidance at Putnam Vocational Technical High School in Springfield, Mass.
The couple resides in Easthampton, Mass.
