CLCS’s Fish Named Offensive Player Of The Year

After putting together a memorable senior season for the Chautauqua Lake Thunderbirds, Bryan Fish was named the CCAC Division 2 Boys Soccer Offensive Player of the Year.

Fish tallied 25 goals and 12 assists this season for the Thunderbirds, who are the top-seeded team in the sectional tournament in Class C.

Chris Pendl, the coach of the Thunderbirds, was named the Coach of the Year for putting together a 9-2 record this season.

Defensive Player of the Year honors were given to Rigel Johnson of Cattaraugus-Little Valley while the Team Sportsmanship Award was given to Cassadaga Valley.

Individual sportsmanship awards went to Travis Carlson of Cassadaga Valley and Jared Rogosienski of Franklinville.

Making the first team from Westfield were Robson Knappenberger and Ben Holt. Chris Cardo was named to the second team.
