Varsity Football

Jason Saulsgiver had 161 yards rushing and two touchdowns to lead Panama past West Valley, 28-14.

Panama finished with a 4-3 record and will play in the opening round of the Bowl Tournament against Maple Grove.

Casey DiDomenico and Nick Lenart each had a touchdown for the Panthers against West Valley. DiDomenico had 77 yards rushing and Derek Fye had 61 yards rushing. Jack Marsh had 10 tackles on defense.



Girls Volleyball

Panama defeated Sherman, 25-19, 21-25, 25-20, 25-12.

Christina Rauh had seven aces, 14 points, two blocks and 13 assists while Olivia Nagel added eight kills, two blocks and 13 points for the Panthers. Jamie Budzinski had two aces, three blocks, six kills and five digs.

Michelle Persons had 11 kills and six digs and Beth Gribble added seven kills, three blocks and six digs for the Wildcats. Julie Frye had three kills and 12 digs.



Panama defeated Pine Valley, 25-12, 25-12, 25-23.

Christina Rauh had four aces, 19 assists and 16 points and Nagel added 11 kills and five points for the Panthers. Budzinski had four aces, eight kills, three blocks, five digs and eight points.



Girls Swimming

Salamanca defeated Panama, 106-78.

Tara Hudson won two individual events for the Panthers. Hallie Hanson was the 100 backstroke.



Boys Soccer

Panama defeated Hinsdale, 2-1.

Cole Gleason and Zach Lubi each scored goals for the Panthers. Jacob Leyman had the assist. Jacob Brostrom had 12 saves in net.
