Varsity Football

Falconer defeated Westfield, 36-25.

The Wolverines (1-5) trailed, 36-7 entering the fourth quarter before scoring 18 unanswered points.

Mitch Kyser had 279 yards passing and three touchdowns. Tyler Bernet, Alias Manzella and Nick Kimbal had touchdowns for the Wolverines, who can still qualify for the playoffs if they defeat Salamanca this week. Bernet finished with 19 tackles on defense. Cortland Knopp added 10 tackles.



Boys Soccer

Robson Knappenberger and Chris Cardo each had goals to lead Westfield past Cassadaga Valley, 2-0.

Cardo assisted on Knappenberger’s goal. Tyler North had seven saves in net for the Wolverines. It was the fifth shutout of the season for North.



Westfield and Frewsburg played to a 2-2 tie.

Knappenberger had both goals for the Wolverines. Iain Cockram and Ben Holt had the assists. North had 10 saves in goal.



Girls Tennis

Westfield defeated Salamanca, 3-2.

Emily Colt and Jenna Spoon were winners for the Wolverines.



Girls Volleyball

Cattaraugus-Little Valley defeated Westfield, 25-19, 25-20, 25-18.

Gretchen Golibersuch had five kills and Leeann Freeman had two kills and six points for the Wolverines. Katie Robbins added 47 sets.



Maple Grove defeated Westfield, 25-20, 25-20, 11-25, 25-21.

Katie Robbins had 30 assists, 16 points and 105 sets and Freeman added seven kills and 10 points for the Wolverines. Golibersuch had nine kills.



Girls Soccer

Frewsburg defeated Westfield, 6-1.

Chelsea Lapp had the lone goal for the Wolverines. Cayla Bentham had the assist. Laura Imm had 10 saves.



Westfield defeated Chautauqua Lake, 1-0.

Charlotte Peck had the game-winning goal for the Wolverines.

Katherine Michalak had 10 saves in goal for Chautauqua Lake.
