RUTH GAGLIARDI

Ruth M. Kosinski Gagliardi, 87, of 1 Tremont St., Warren, Pa., died Wednesday morning, October 8, 2008, at the Golden Living Kinzua, after a one day stay.

She was born January 31, 1921 in Reynoldsville, Pa., to the late Steve and Irene Bowman Kosinski. She has resided in Warren since 1970.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. She was an avid quilter and crafter.

Ruth is survived by her son, Stephen M. Gagliardi and his wife, Teresa of Wellsburg, W.Va.; one sister, Lois Harriger and husband, Walter of Reynoldsville, Pa.; two grandchildren, Denise M. Peterson of Sheffield, Pa. and Melissa A. Chmelovski, with whom she resided with; and 11 greatgrandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. Gagliardi; one daughter, Ann Patricia (Pat) Chmelovski, who died May 23, 2008; two brothers, Robert and John Kosinski; and one sister, Joan Santini.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, Pa., from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, when a funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Fr. Walter E. Packard, pastor of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, officiating.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery.
