Franklin L. and V. Renee (Hodges) Chapel of Youngsville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. An open house at Warren Holiday Inn was well attended by family and friends.
The couple was united in marriage on Sept. 13, 1958, at the EUB Church in Youngsville by the Rev. F. Eugene Donaldson. Mr. Chapel retired from the United Refining Co. in 2001 and enjoys motorcycling and his computer. Mrs. Chapel enjoys reading and her animals. They both love to visit with their grandchildren and great-grandson.
The event was hosted by their children, Lynn (David) Finlan, Melanie (David) Brush, and Berton (Marie) Chapel.v
