Girls Volleyball Falconer defeated Chautauqua Lake, 25-17, 25-22, 25-15. Julie Einink had nine kills and seven digs and Jenny Brown had tow kills, nine digs, six assists and five blocks for the Thunderbirds. Randolph defeated Chautauqua Lake, 25-19, 25-5, 25-6. Brown had five assists and two blocks and Michaela Meleen had three kills and two assists for the Thunderbirds. Forestville defeated Chautauqua Lake, 25-16, 25-14, 24-26, 25-10. Einink had 11 kills, four blocks, nine digs and two aces for the Thunderbirds. Jenn Fuller had five kills. Girls Swimming Allegany-Limestone defeated Chautauqua Lake, 102-80. Emily Hamilton was an individual winner for the Thunderbirds. Olean defeated Chautauqua Lake, 134-52. The relay team of Andrea Schmitt, Kate Johnson, Hamilton and Alicia Gleason qualified for sectionals for the Thunderbirds. Girls Tennis Chautauqua Lake defeated Frewsburg, 4-1. Jenna Raynor remained undefeated at singles. Joni Keating and Christine Linnecke were also winners for the Thunderbirds. Chautauqua Lake defeated Falconer, 4-1. Raynor was a winner at singles while the doubles team of Amy Eckendorf and Steph Marchincin were winners in two sets. Boys Soccer Chautauqua Lake and Cattaraugus-Little Valley played to a 1-1 tie. Tyler Rhodes scored for the Thunderbirds. Jordan Reynolds had eight saves in net. Girls Soccer Frewsburg defeated Chautauqua Lake, 5-1. Anna Preston had the lone Thunderbird goal while Katherine Michalak had 21 saves in goal. |
