Warren
Hit-and-run. An unknown vehicle struck and caused minor damage to a parked car owned by Noah Justin Lucks of Clarendon between 11:15 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. on Sunday in the Blair parking lot at the corner of Hickory Street and Third Avenue, according to Warren police.
Hit-and-run. An unknown vehicle struck and caused minor damage to a parked van owned by House of Television Rental, 14 Market St. Plaza, between 9:45 and 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of North Carver Street, according to Warren police. Police said the van was parked with its right side to the curb and the damage was done to the right side of the vehicle. White or light colored paint transfer was found on the van, police said.
Drug Possession. According to Warren city police, the police along with members of the Warren County Drug Task Force took Jesse CJ Wolfgang, 21, last known address of 456 Phillips St., into custody after an investigation into the sale of the drug heroin. Wolfgang was charged with one count of criminal conspiracy of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, four counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, one count of corruption of minors. Wolfgang was arraigned at District Judge Zerbe's office and placed in the Warren County Jail with $100,000 bail.
Drug possession. According to Warren city police, the police along with members of the Warren County Drug Task Force filed a juvenile allegation against a 17 year old female in relation to the Jesse Wolfgang case. The female juvenile was charged with one count of criminal conspiracy of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Gas drive off. Warren city police reported that at 5:55 p.m. on Friday a lady in a newer very clean black car drove off without paying for her 17.2 gallons of 87 octane gas from Vic Suppa's Shell Station, 1701 Pa Ave. W. The total of gas pumped was $62.24, stated police.
Bad checks. According to Warren city police, a non-traffic citation was filed Monday charging Karen Denardi, 51, 14 Franklin St. after she issued a check on June 19 for $56 to FNB Consumer Discount Co., 210 Liberty St., that was returned NSF.
Theft. Warren city police reported that Nicholas Nelson, 34 Glade Ave. reported that sometime during the night Saturday an unknown person keyed the driver side of his 1996 Dodge and stole his PA regulation plate HBA5890 while parked at his residence.
Disorderly conduct. Warren city police reported that two non-traffic citations were filed today charging Thomas E. Walters, 47, 423 Chapman Dam Rd., Clarendon, after an investigation into a fight at a local tavern at 9:25 p.m. on Sept. 23. Walters was allegedly causing a disturbance and when escorted out the door allegedly punched a tavern employee in the eye, said police.
Bad checks. According to Warren city police a non-traffic citation was filed Monday charging Carla Ann Stenstrom, 35, 53 Lois Lane, Clarendon, after she issued a check in the amount of $16.96 on May 15 to Means Inc., 315 Pa Ave. E. that was returned NSF.
Garland
Parole violation. Warren County adult probation and parole reported that on Friday, officers of the Warren County adult probation department with assistance from the Warren County Sheriff's department arrested Timothy Buchanan, 46, at his home in Garland on several charges of violation of parole. Buchanan, who was originally placed on parole on the charges of possession of marijuana and DUI, was arrested on a supervisor's warrant and was committed to the Warren County jail pending further court action, stated authorities.
Youngsville
DUI. Warren-based state police reported that at 4:20 a.m. on W. Main St., Brad C. Wilcox, 26, Youngsville, was traveling east when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel, resulting in failing to stop at the intersection with N. Main St. and E. Main St.. His vehicle continued through the intersection, traveling off the north side of E. Main St. where the vehicle traveled over the curb, across the sidewalk, and impacted the front end against a building., and the passenger side impacted a street sign metal pole, damaging the pole, said police. Wilcox was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured, and was placed under arrest for DUI, and there was a criminal complaint issued for DUI, stop sign and careless driving to be filed at district court, Youngsville office, said police. Police were assisted at the scene by Youngsville V.F.D..
Aggravated assault. According to Warren-based state police, Dustin Mark Smith, 23, Youngsville, turned himself in when he learned of an arrest warrant in his name regarding an Aug. 14 incident at the Down Under Bar. He was taken into custody and transported to the district magistrate in Marienville and lodged in Warren County jail on $25,000 bond, stated police.
Brokenstraw Twp.
Found property. Warren-based state police reported that on Monday, a Trex bicycle was found at the BP station on Rt. 6. To claim the bike, contact PSP Warren with proper decription.
Deerfield Twp.
Hit and run crash. According to Warren-based state police, at 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, on Tidioute Creek Rd., an unknown person driving a pickup truck was traveling south and immediately after traveling past Grant St., traveled onto the dirt shoulder and apparently over-corrected in returning to the roadway, resulting in the vehicle abruptly traveling off the left side of the roadway and impacting the front end against a traffic sign post. After knocking over the traffic sign post, the vehicle continued traveling approximately 10 ft. further off the roadway into a shallow ditch, stated police.The driver then left the scene without notifying Penndot or PSP Warren, and a possible PA registration plate and description of the vehicle wsa obtained by a witness and the investigation continues, said police. State police were assisted at the scene by the Tidioute police department.
Farmington Twp.
Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police reported that at 1:37 p.m. on Friday, at Eisenhower High School, a 15 year old juvenile and a 16 year old juvenile were cited for harassment following a fight in the hallway.
Crash. According to Warren-based state police, at 7:15 a.m. on Monday on Rt. 957, Christopher P. John, 30, Russell, was traveling east when he lost control of his vehicle while rounding a curve and traveled off the south berm, striking a ditch. The vehicle then traveled 240 ft. along the ditch and came to a final rest facing east in a driveway, said police. Moderate damage was done to the vehicle and John made his own arrangements for removal of the vehicle, stated police.
DUI. Warren-based state police reported that at 12:44 a.m. on Saturday, on Rt. 957, Matthew M. Larson, 23, Russell, was arrested for DUI after being stopped for a traffic violation.
Mead Twp.
DUI.Warren County DUI enforcement team reported that at 2:40 a.m. on Sunday, Jeffrey Banko, 23, Jefferson St., was stopped for a routine traffic violation and charged with DUI. A criminal complaint has been filed in the office of district magistrate Laura Bauer, and Banko was released from custody pending further action, stated authorities.
Pinegrove Twp.
Harassment. According to Warren-based state police, at 4 a.m. on Sept. 23 at 1380 Howard Rd., police investigated a report of a domestic dispute in which Marshall J. Sherer was cited for harassment for subjecting Kim A. Sherer to physical contact. A non-traffic citation was filed through Magistrate Bauer's office.
Pittsfield Twp.
Assault/harassment. Warren-based state police reported that at 10:10 p.m. on Friday, James Watson, 26, and Michelle Watson, 23, both of 444 Dalrymple St., Apt. 3, were cited for harassment after they entered into a physical confrontation at their residence. James Watson suffered a very minor bite to his arm, and Michelle Watson was lightly choked with a purse strap.
