Chew-Osborne

Heidi M. Chew and Mark E. Osborne were united in marriage at 1 p.m. on June 7, 2008, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Marblehead, Ohio. The Rev. Fr. Daniel Ring performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Lee and Laura Chew of Warren. The groom is the son of James and Patricia Osborne of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Wedding music was provided by vocalist Ryann Angelotti, friend of the bride; violist Kathy Kalogeras, groom's sister; and organist Ron Ossovicki.

Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by maid of honor Kathleen Chew of Erie, her sister, and by bridesmaids Caryn Chew of Warren, bride's sister; Jessica Richardson of Prairie du Sac, Wisc., Molly Linehan of Cleveland, Ohio, and Kristin DeLarme of Madison, Wisc., all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Madison Chew of Erie, bride's niece. Best man was John Brube of Cincinnati, a friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jim Osborne and Peter Osborne of Cincinnati and John Osborne of Peoria, Ill., groom's brothers, and Nate Johnson of Altoona, a friend of the groom. Ushers were Derek Chew of Erie, bride's brother; Ralph Chew of Chrisney, Ind., bride's brother; and Luke Haslett of Erie, a friend of the bride. Ringbearer was Jason Klein of Chicago, Ill., groom's nephew.

A reception followed the ceremony at Caesar's Crystal Palace in Sandusky, Ohio, with Tom and Loretta Osborne of Cincinnati, groom's uncle and aunt, and Noreen Hurlburt of Union City, bride's aunt, as master and mistresses of ceremonies.

Pre-nuptial showers were hosted by the bride's mother and by Kathleen Chew and Caryn Chew, bride's sisters, at the Colony Pub & Grille in Erie.

The bride graduated from Warren Area High School, the University of Dayton and Gannon University. She is a theology teacher at St. Mary's Central Catholic High School in Sandusky, Ohio. Her husband graduated from Anderson High School in Cincinnati and attended Miami University of Ohio and the Ohio State University. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Providence (a submarine) and is now an operator at Davis Besse Nuclear Power Plant in Oak Harbor, Ohio.

Following a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Marblehead.
